Starting with identified stakeholders and partners covering all sectors, public and private, the first preparatory session was held to launch the Socio-Economic Forum in the Bekaa, a joint socio-economic development work between the Saint Joseph University and the Leb-ID NGO in the Bekaa. We eagerly anticipate the implementation of the master plan for the Bekaa and are committed to joining forces to develop and strenghten all social economic sectors, working collaboratively with civil society, academic institutions, and our international community partners.
Following the invitation of the Higher Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Food Industries at Saint Joseph University and the Leb ID initiative for Development (Leb-ID), the second session for launching the Socio-Economic Forum in the Bekaa was held on January 10, 2025 at Saint Joseph University in Taanayel. The event was attended by the Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Engineer Louis Lahoud, and brought together a number of specialized journalists to involve the media sector in all stages, emphasizing the guiding and advisory role of the media.
